Instructions
Boil your eggs
Place your eggs in a pot and add enough water to cover them completely. Bring the water to a boil and let it boil for about 10-12 minutes. Then turn off the heat and let the eggs cool down before handling them.
Prepare your dye: In a cup or bowl, mix 1/2 cup of hot water, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, and a few drops of food colouring. Repeat the process for each colour you want to use.
Dye your eggs
Use a spoon or tongs to place an egg in the dye mixture. Let it sit for a few minutes, or until you achieve the desired colour intensity. Remove the egg from the dye and place it on a paper towel to dry. Repeat the process for each egg and colour.
Add decorations
Once your eggs are dry, you can add decorations if you like. You can use stickers, markers, glitter, glue, and other decorations to make your eggs unique.
Display your eggs
After you’ve decorated your eggs, you can display them in a basket or other container. You can also hide them for an Easter egg hunt!
Please Note…
Be sure to handle the eggs gently so they don’t crack or break. Also, if you plan to eat the eggs, be sure to refrigerate them after dyeing and decorating.
