We love car seat innovation here at Parenting Expert and are very passionate about car seat safety. Nuna have launched a new car seat, an infant carrier, which is designed to make parenting a little easier and negate the need of a heavy and cumbersome ISOFIX base.
So what’s new?
The PIPA urbn rethinks what it means to take an infant on the road in the future. This innovative baby car seat has a built-in ISOFIX system and weighs only 3.3 kg (without the canopy and insert). Its ground-breaking, completely baseless installation function is built right into the car seat, enabling super-secure installation in seconds, whether going from car to taxi to having a lift with a friend or family member, ushering in a new era of transportation.
A lightweight infant carrier
The PIPA urbn car seat weighs only 3.3 kg (without the hood and newborn insert), making it very lightweight and ideal for urban travel. Parents will appreciate just how easy it is to remove the urbn infant carrier from the car or the pushchair with one hand.
Kind to your baby’s skin
The PIPA urbn’s eco-friendly Merino wool headrest and body insert are gentle on a baby’s sensitive skin. The fabric and foam used in its construction are flame-resistant without the need for chemical flame retardants.
Comfortable for your baby
The PIPA urbn comes with a detachable, full-coverage UPF 50+ canopy that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. It also has a flip-out eyeshade, an extra-large peek-a-boo window, and the signature Sleep drapeTM that pulls down smoothly. This attaches without a sound so baby can sleep during the day.
The Nuna PIPA urbn will be available in early March 2023.
