Silver Cross, a renowned and well-loved Nursery brand has this week launched a new Wave. At first glance, the beautiful new colours may seem to be the only change. However, we delved a little deeper to discover that they are making large steps to improve their sustainability.
What’s new about the Silver Cross Wave?
The Silver Cross Wave’s outer fabrics are now made from materials manufactured from recycled plastic bottles, furthering Silver Cross’ sustainability objective. We also love that the pushchair is delivered in totally recyclable outer packaging. These are elements that are becoming more and more important to discernible parents.
As well as the fabric updates, there are some gorgeous new colours to chose from. New to the Silver Cross Wave range is Onyx (black), Lunar (grey), and Cedar (forest green). The new palette, all of which are inspired by the natural world, are designed to stand the test of time. The new colourway names reflect the sustainability message we are now seeing from Silver Cross. As you may expect from Silver Cross, the Wave still has its elegant features and stand out features. These include the plush faux leather bumper and handle bar. The cosy bamboo-lined carrycot that can be used for overnight sleeping. We are pleased to see Silver Cross’ one-of-a-kind GeniusTM Harness system with a time-saving magnetic buckle on the seat unit.
The Wave is a premium, future-proofed pram that converts from a single to double configuration, making it ideal for expanding families. The innovative and adaptable Wave is great for one, two, or even three children. It comes with seven different single to double configurations, but parents can add a tandem seat, second carrycot, or ride-on-board (all sold separately) to expand the stroller’s versatility. There are up to 30 different combinations, making it ideal for families with several children.
Keep your eyes peeled for more news from Silver Cross soon!
